The ZYCH brand traces its roots to the Tracy Zych New York brand that was founded in 2004, when designer Tracy Zych made her dreams of designing a handbag line into a reality by gaining representation in an esteemed New York showroom. Ashley Zych-Saylor soon joined the business and the sisters moved to Los Angeles to grow the Tracy Zych handbag label. Tracy and Ashley quickly established themselves in the fashion industry with their signature style of handbags that embody luxury.

The Tracy Zych New York brand found its success with the launch of the Edie bag that was inspired by British actress Sienna Miller who was starring in “The Factory Girl” as 1960’s underground film star, socialite, and Andy Warhol’s superstar Edie Sedgwick. Since, its original launch in 2006, the Edie bag has been carried by some of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Minnillo-Lachey and Halle Berry.

Tracy Zych New York handbags have been featured in numerous magazines from around the globe including People Magazine, In Style, US Weekly, Lucky magazine, In Touch, Glamour, OK Magazine, Page Six magazine to name a few.

After several years of living in Los Angeles, Tracy and Ashley decided to relocate the Tracy Zych New York brand headquarters to their native Florida and it was business as usual until the world economy crashed in 2008 forcing the sisters to put their independent handbag brand on pause.
